Dexter wins at 1st round of FIA Karting European Championship!
The opening round of the 2019 FIA Karting European Championship was held at Angerville in France from 19-21st April. Representing the new Sauber Karting Team, Dexter qualified 2nd overall, just 0.012 seconds off the fastest time. Dexter went on to win 4 of his heats, finishing 6th in the final heat where some drivers opted for new tyres. Dexter topped the rankings after all of the qualifying heats placing him on Pole for the Final.
Dexter started the race confidently taking the lead from the outset. He remained in control of the 26 lap race, despite continued pressure from behind, to secure the win.
Dexter currently leads the Championship after obtaining maximum points from the first round.
