The first round of Formula Kart Stars 2015 took place at Whilton Mill on Saturday 2nd May. With a different set up to other Championships, Dexter was racing in the Super Cadet class designed for 10-12 year olds. Dexter started the day well qualifying in pole position, placing him in P1 for the first race of the day. Mixed results from the heats placed him 8th on the grid for the final.
Dexter progressed towards the front drivers quite quickly during the race, taking the lead for a number of laps in the second half. However, he fell back to 3rd after being passed by Martin and McQueen but managed to get back into 2nd place and hold his position to the finish line.
