FKS travelled to Nutts Corner in Northern Ireland for the 5th and 6th rounds of the championship on 25/26 July. On Saturday the day started dry and Dexter qualified on pole. He then went on to take a win, a 2nd and a 3rd in the heats placing him on P3 for the final. After losing the front two drivers, Thompson and Martin, Dexter went into the final lap in 3rd position. However, contact with another driver meant Dexter came off the track straight into the barriers. After managing to re-join the track he finished the race albeit in second last position.
Round 6 on the Sunday was a wet and windy day. Dexter put in the fastest lap in time qualifying and again went on to win his 1st heat. He finished 2nd in the next 2 heats which was enough to place him on P1 for the final. Dexter lead to race from start to finish, securing the win and some valuable championship point. The next two rounds are at Three Sisters Race Circuit in Wigan on 15/16 August.
