The fifth round of the LGM Championship was held at Buckmore Park in Kent. After a disappointing first heat on the Saturday, finishing 7th, Dexter finished 4th and 1st in his remaining heats placing him on P5 for the final. Dexter quickly moved up into 2nd place but a first lap incident resulted in the Yellow/Black flag being deployed for the second lap. As the green flag was waved once again Dexter took the lead from Edgar and continued to pull away as the pack behind traded places. However, with 2 laps to go Thompson and Edgar worked together to push up to Dexter, taking the lead from him at the end of the penultimate lap. Dexter finished the race in 3rd position behind Thompson and Edgar. The next two rounds of the Championship are at Cumbria Kart Club, Rowrah on 30/31st August.
