The second round of the Super One MSA British Cadet Championship was hosted by Llandow Kart Club on 23rd/24th May. Dexter was only able to reach 9th positon in time qualification and finished 4th and 6th in the heats placing him on Grid 4 for Final 1. For much of this race Dexter was in 3rd position working with Hanafin to try and catch the leader Edgar who had gained a considerable gap early on. Unable to reach the leader, Dexter eventually crossed the line in 2nd position.
In Final 2 Dexter took the initial lead but this was short lived and he found himself battling for position during the next few laps. During the second half of the race Dexter was once again in 3rd, this time with Thompson closely behind him. They worked together to try and catch the leading pair of Edgar and Hanafin who had built up a 4 second gap. On the final lap Thompson managed to pass Dexter on the last bend resulting in a 4th place finish to the race. Dexter is now 2nd in the Championship, 6 points behind the new leader Edgar.
