Buckmore Park was host to the 3rd round of the Super One MSA British Cadet Championship on 13th/14th June. Saturday got off to a good start as Dexter secured pole position in time qualifying and then went on to win both of the heats. On Sunday, in Final 1, Dexter remained within a top 3 position for the majority of the race. In the closing stages, Thompson and Edgar pushed away together at the front leaving Dexter in 3rd with the chasing pack behind. A last lap incident resulted in Dexter coming off the track but he recovered and crossed the finish line in 12th position. Consequently, starting 12th on Grid in Final 2, Dexter had some work to do to reach the front. He managed to take the lead half way through the race though this was short lived and an incident pushed him back down to 6th position. Within a few laps he worked his way back up to 3rd which is where he finished the race. However, exclusion of the driver in front promoted Dexter to 2nd, subject to a pending appeal. Dexter remains 2nd in the Championship, still 6 points behind the leader Edgar.
