PF International 3rd & 4th December 2016
The first round of the TVKC Winter Series was held at PFI on 3rd and 4th December 2016 where Dexter raced in both the Mini Max an OKJ Class. Time qualifying took place on a dry track under the flood lights on Saturday night where Dexter took 4th and 6th position respectively.
Mini Max:
On Sunday Dexter started both Mini Max heats in 4th going on to take a 2nd and a 1st, placing him P2 for the Final. Dexter fell back to 4th at the start of the race but had taken the lead by lap 6. Despite a tight race at the front, Dexter remained in the lead and took the win as he passed the chequered flag.
OKJ:
In OKJ Dexter finished the heats in 5th and 6th resulting in a P5 grid position for the Final. By the end of the 1st lap Dexter had moved into 3rd place and the front 3 drivers had pulled clear of the rest of the pack. Unable to reach the leaders, Dexter finished the race in 3rd giving him another podium position for the day.
